Our Services

  • A boundary survey locates or re-establishes property corners. We can provide a plat showing the results of the survey and field notes for a deed filing. We can also cut out (stake) property lines if necessary.

  • Usually required by a lender in a real estate closing, a mortgage loan survey shows the property boundary, improvements within the boundary, and easements on a provided title commitment.

  • Shows the location of form boards for a concrete foundation. Typically required for inspection prior to pouring a slab. Form surveys check that a concrete slab will not be encroaching within various easements or building setback lines. Required by certain jurisdictions.

  • When dividing a piece of property into two or more tracts, filing a subdivision plat may be necessary. East Texas Land Surveying can perform the land boundary work and also act as your agent during the platting process.

  • Once a boundary has been determined, we can place wooden markers (or steel t-posts) along the line for clear and definitive location. This is especially useful with fence construction.

  • Capture the elevation of a property at a client specified detail. Then create contours based off of all existing data that accurately shows a property’s layout (hills, valleys, drains, etc). Often used with construction planning.
